Pausing elapsed time

Post by kacolvin » Mon Oct 25, 2010 4:16 am

I use iScore for Travel Softball.
There is a time limit to these games and clock management is very important.
During rain delays or player injuries, the game time is paused.
Is there any way to pause the elapsed time displayed on iScore to keep track of this ?

Thanks

Not that I am aware of.

I have requested this feature as well. Hopefully it will start moving up the priority list if we can get more people to chime in with us.

+1. Additional functionality that would be nice would be to tap the time and reset the start time. Frequently, I am still editing the lineups when 'On the Clock' is announced and I haven't gotten to the point of hitting 'Play' to start the clock.

We will add more clock management to our enhancement list, but for now, it is a very straightforward "time since start of game" timer. To do anything beyond that will require creating an actual "running timer" which can be done, but is not a small task.

I handle this by adjusting the start time of the game (Game Info page - select start time.) If the game is "paused" for 10 minutes due to injury or weather, I will move the start-time up on the game by 10 minutes - puts everything back in sync. It does change the start time of the game, but I'm not really that interested in when it started, only that I have elapsed correct.
