Post by edadamcik » Mon Sep 13, 2010 5:43 pm

My son left his itouch out in rain and nuked it. So i lost half seasons info. Any way to re-download the app and access my info or do I need to pay for app again, and start from scratch?

As with any iPhone application, you can re-download it for free. Just go to the Purchase option on your new device, and as long as you enter the same login information, iTunes will recognize that you have already made the purchase and ask if you want to download the application again for free.

If you have done any Option->Exports from your old device, you can recover that data from our server as well. Just email us directly at support@iscorecentral.com and we can help with that.

in addition to what FTM said,

to get app for free, you must sign into the same itunes/app store account ( id) as used in your orginal purchase.. "so itunes knows". note, at first it will look like you are buying the app twice, you will not get the prompt that it will be no charge, untill after you have hit buy the first time. (a small quirk in itunes).. but rest assured, if you are on the same id as originally purchased, i tunes will know and not charge you for re downloading and installing.

for those reading, another reason why i advocate exporting your database after every game - just in case

if you did not export your data, you may still be able to recover your data if you "synch" with your mac itunes. I believe there is a backup made each synch and a restore feature that way...
