When I select a game to score all I get is a blank screen.

Nothing comes up at all. I am using an iPad 1. Is that the issue? If so I would like to have known before I paid for and downloaded the app.

iScore works fine on an iPad 1. You may need to reset the device to be sure you do not have any other apps using memory / leaking memory. To do this, press and hold the home button and power button on your device at the same time until the Apple logo appears and the device will reset. Then trying running iScore.
