Muff recovered by same player

Consider this scenario: punt returner muffs punt at own 10, recovers ball at 10, then returns to the 12. The app credits the player with 1 return for 0 yards. However, according to the NFL Guide for Statisticians (see below), the player should be given credit for a return and 2 return yards.

2. General Principles of Scoring Yardage on Fumble Plays
A. When a player recovers his own fumble, credit him with net yardage gained or lost on the play in the category initiating the action (in this case, punt returns). Charge him with a fumble and credit him with "own recovery."
