I had just recently bought the NFHS rule book and looked through it. I then found that a Safety scores 1 point for a team when it is done during a PAT try (although in reality really hard to accomplish but can be done).
When I tried to do so on the iScore app., it does not award the 1 point to the team that scored the Safety during the PAT.
It is much more possible to do so in college since PAT's can be returned on blocked kicks or when a team goes for 2, the defending team takes a fumble or INT and returns for 2 points. (**also on this note, on the app. when it goes back to kickoff, the wrong team is kicking off - the team that wound up scoring the 2 points is shown to be kicking off instead of the team that actually scored the TD kicking off, that needs to be switched**).
In this situation though: the defending player let's say grabs a fumble in the field of play at the 2 and runs backwards into the end zone after which he is tackled - resulting in a safety for the team that initially took the snap which would award them 1 point because it occurred during a PAT try.
In a similar situation: the defending player intercepts a pass in the end zone and does not take the ball out during a PAT attempt. I noticed the only option is a Safety when trying to tell what the player did with the intercepted ball. A "Ball ruled dead" choice needs to be inserted as a choice on a intercepted PAT pass.
Where the team on defense scores a Safety (a 97-yard loss), it also does not award the point for the Safety during the PAT try.

Re: When a Safety occurs on a PAT attempt
We do not currently handle this situation. You can manually add the points by double tapping the score, and enter a note on the play for now. We would expect this to be extremely rare, but will add it to our enhancement list for a future release.
