Interception and return out of endzone

In our game last week, there was an interception in the end zone, the ball carrier ran the ball out of the end zone, and was tackled down field. When I tried to record the interception return starting in the end zone, the only option was to record a touch back. I therefore had to record the interception as starting at the 1 yard line in order to record the return properly. Is there a work around for this or is this a glitch in the system? Thanks.

We will get this fixed for a future update. For now, yeah, enter the interception at the 1 yard line so it can be run back.
