Ok. I think the last thing standing in my way is the ability to add the amount of yards that were gained on the play...
Is that an enhancement that might potentially be added some day? Even for non-strat scoring, I can see using it for a high school game and listening for the announcer saying "10 yards on the play" and entering it based off of that.
Either way, just a thought.

We have it on our list, but honestly, if you watch a game on TV or listen to the announcers, their announcement of "he gained 8 yards" is wrong a great percentage of the time. It is best to go by where the referee places the ball as the announcer is announcing what they think they saw rather than where the ball is truly placed, and it is often wrong by a yard or two.
We understand that with SOM it would be different as you deal with exact "10 yard gain" circumstances, but it is far less definitive in live scorekeeping.
