  • Universal Application - Now runs natively on both iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad
  • Complete Overhaul of UI for iPad - iPad UI updated to make better use of full screen. Runs in both Landscape and Portrait mode

Specifically, the universal iPhone/iPad version.

Seriously, it annoys me no end that these app developers put out specific iPad versions when it could possibly be easier to just charge some extra money for new items (rosters, etc.) in in-app purchases.

thanks for the clarification .. 'universal app' for baseball.

I do not know why FTM choose to deploy an ipad only version as oppoesed to a universal app in baseball, but I can imagine a number of practical reasons why they did it to have a quality app on the market when iPad went public.

but what i do know, is as a consumer of the iphone version and then the ipad version, the value of the ipad version was well worth the incremental 10$ for my needs and teams.

(P.s. i ran the basketball app on ipad in 2X mode before this recent update, you could do similar with baseball version).

Please give me back the full screen! Or at a minimum make it an option to have the game detail box display or not. I much prefer the old presentation with the larger screen area for input. Main reason I went to Ipad was because of the larger input area.

Another point, why does the app close down when coming out of a game?

We are working on having multiple ways to view the scoring screens with different options. Not sure what you mean about the app closing down when coming out of a game. Can you give us the steps that are causing it to close down? We just did the following:

1. Game Manager
2. Select Game
3. Select Play
4. Scored a couple baskets
5. Clicked Exit
6. Clicked OK
7. Clicked Back from Game Info screen
8. Clicked Back from Game Manager screen

Now back at title screen.

Are you doing a different set of steps?
