When we sync up with the server, it will load whatever stats we have taken. It does not keep a running stat total to watch 'live' you can only get stat updates when we hit sync with server, so updates happen only at timeouts and quarters. Am I missing something?

If you turn the iScorecast option on from the Options screen prior to scoring a game, and if you have internet connectivity, the iScorecasts update in real time as the game progresses. There is no need to use the Sync option.
