Live Scorecast

Post by Kpavell » Sat Dec 17, 2011 8:34 am

IS it possible to view Scorecast live? I have a few players with relatives out of state that would like to "watch" our games lives.

Yes. That is the main purpose of the iScorecast. You just need to have it enabled and have an Internet connection while scoring (3G is fine).

Never mind. I found the link. I forgot that my customer ID had changed from last year when I switched to Ipad. Everything is good.

If you have the iScorecast turned on on the Options screen in iScore prior to scoring your game, and you have an internet connection while scoring, then yes, the data is "live" while being scored for the iScorecast. The iScorecast URL for basketball is http://basketball.iscorecast.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. The reason for putting "live" in quotes is there can be up to a 30 second delay from the time you enter the data on your device until the time the user sees it on their screen in the "live" scenario depending on internet traffic, etc. But the viewer would typically not know they are on a slight delay.
