Foul Editing

Post by BPoole23 » Tue Nov 29, 2011 7:35 pm

When you miss a foul and you realize a couple plays later that someone commited a foul, is there anyway you can adjust a players fouls just like you would rebounds or free throws in the Adjust section?

Also, Just wondering if anyone has any pointers or tips for keeping up with subs. When the other team makes substitutions i can never keep up with them. I'll be preoccupied updating our teams subs and then get behind and then something will happen and when i go to enter it in, that player will be in the bench. That's has been making scoring the games very difficult.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks.

There is a "Foul" option in the Adjust tab just like for the other tabs. You will not be able to indicate the type of foul in this case, but you can add a foul and enter a note specifying the type if you would like. Or just enter the foul using the standard foul option and add a note saying it occurred a few minutes ago (or whatever time has elapsed).

For subs, it seems the easiest way to do it is to use the Clear button to clear all the current players, then just tap the players that you see on the court. This is what the Clear button is for on the sub screen, and is a lot faster than looking at each player and determining if they are on the court.

What is the team foul limit? Is it fouls allowed per player or team fouls as it states. If team fouls, most cases 7 for 1&1 10 for 2 shots. Just confused on what this setting is for.

It is team fouls until in penalty. And rules vary even beyond what you are suggesting at various age groups through college, international, and NBA.

Suggestion - really think about how important it is for your team's coach to know the specific stats for each individual opponent. What we do (high school varsity) is track a generic player for the opponent and enter all stats under their name. That way we have information about the opponent but not about their individual players. Since we don't play the same team over and over again the individual information is irrelevant.

Great idea glen.holmes....will save me a lot of time not worrying about the opponents specific players.

Thx!
