Entering Subs

Is there a way to do a substitution without it looking like a "pass" ??? The "sub" tab isn't available unless a player number is tapped . . . and during game "play" tapping a player comes up as "pass to #whoever" in the play-by-play. But it's not a pass, I just need to make a substitution. Soooooo, what's the magic that makes that happen? Not all substitutions happen during free throws (which seems to be the only place I've found so far where I can make subs without it coming up as a "pass"). I'd appreciate any help

The update we are about to submit to Apple makes it so all the passes do not occur like that. We should be submitting any day now.
