Default to Fly Ball
Using v.4.03 on my iPad. I have noticed this spring (with the recent updates) that when I score a popup/fly out that iScore now defaults to popup. I didn't notice this before, and the guy that crunches all the numbers for us after I score a game wondered how we were getting so many popups. Fly balls...

Re: RBI on Dropped 3rd Strike
It is a play initiated with the batter-runner that results in the advancement of th preceding runners, so it makes as much sense as giving the batter an RBI when he's hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. This is one of those quirks in the rules. If the batter-runner is still put out, you cannot cre...

Losing Pitcher
While I have kept score for many years, I had always left W/L credit to the coaches as they prepare their reports to the media. This year, I am sending box scores directly to local media through iScore. (Thanks for that feature/ability, by the way.) I think I pretty well have the winning pitcher stu...

Re: Game info scroll lock up
I have started noticing this in the past several weeks. Since it is new to me and several software updates after this was originally posted, I thought I should post here and bump this thread up so you can know that it still is an issue (and the workarounds still work).

Re: Contact Info in Box Score
Eureka! I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier... The box score is e-mailed after it is parsed into HTML. All I had to do to get my line breaks was to enter the HTML code for a line break (<br>) in between bits of info in the notes section and it divided everything into lines in the e-mail.

Contact Info in Box Score
Thank you so much for all of the great features in this program. I've been using iScore for a couple of years to keep track of stats, but this is the first year that I'm sending box scores into the newspapers for our team. I am so glad that we are able to send the box score directly from the iPad, e...

RBI on Dropped 3rd Strike
This is not so much a question as a comment, hoping others can learn from my mistake. We had a situation where a run was scored on a dropped third strike that resulted in the batter-runner being thrown out at first. I had entered the play as [strike][dropped 3rd strike] and then 2-3 on the putout. W...

Scoreboard Control
Sometimes as a volunteer, I get to wear a couple of different hats during a ballgame. Often I get both scorekeeping and scoreboard control. Since all of the information that is needed for the scoreboard is in the "header" of the play screen (total runs per team, inning, outs, balls, and strikes), I ...
