Re: Ability to have the Run Expectancy automitcally generate

The equation is the easy part. Doing the coefficients is the hard part. You could do the coefficients and let the user filter by what leagues to use. It might take 10-15 minutes for your program to calculate a 70 game season. Once the coefficients were done, I could put them in excel and figure out ...

Re: ability to automatically get average innings played

I just figured out how you can get close number by using the pitching stats.

You can take the total innings pitched by the number of games.

It would still be nice if this just showed up on the team manager page.

ability to automatically get average innings played

We play a lot of softball tournaments that are time limited to 1 hour 15 minutes or 1 hour 30 minutes. We rarely get 7 innings in. Is there a way to easily get the average number of inning's played per game?

Ability to have the Run Expectancy automitcally generated

For those of us who would like to do sabermetrics, it would be nice if you could generate the coefficients. I normally keep track of the following: 1B, 2B, 3B, BB, BT, CS, DI, DP, E, HBP, HR, K, OUT1, OUT2, OUT3, PB, RBOE, SACF, SACG, SB, THRWN (Throwing Error), WP I think you could run a script aft...

Re: ability to quantify hit locations into numbers/statistic

Just getting the raw data would be sufficient. I can calculate the graph in Excel.

Re: 4.0 Questions -

I have been keeping foul ball locations also, I am waiting for when you will put that on also.

ability to quantify hit locations into numbers/statistics

I can look at the spray chart for a player, what would be nice is the ability to quantify this data. How I would do this is the following: 1. I would make a hit to first base at 0 degrees. 2. I would make a hit to third base at 90 degrees. 3. Foul balls would take up the rest of the circle in degree...

Re: Ability to look at pitching spray chart by innings

While I am thinking about it, It would also be nice to be able to do a pitch chart on just curve balls, or change ups, or whatever pitch. This should be cumulative like the batting stats where you could put in date ranges or last 5 or whatever ranges you want. Also during a game you get the total nu...

Ability to look at pitching spray chart by innings

It would be really useful to look at the pitching spray chart by inning's. During the game you can see the cumulative chart as you go along, but something very useful would be the ability to see just the second inning, or just the fourth inning etc...
