When I look at the game summary for a pitcher it shows that he threw 43 strikes. But when I look at the breakdown of Sc and Ss there are 13 Sc and 7 Ss. Shouldn't the Sc & Ss when added together equal the total number of strikes, 43? Does it have something to do with balls in play not being a Sc or ...

if you look at the scorecard after the game the pitch sequence is listed in the balls and strikes for each batter.
