FYI to those interested.. I was able to export the data to the web servers. Customer Support repaired the database and I was able to import it back into the iPad. Data was restored back to the inning that it shut down.

We were around the 6th inning in 100+ degrees and the iScore app quit. I didn't see the iPad overheat warning.
