Re: Runs-only scoring
One thought although out of the box. Give the iPad to the other team when they are batting. Let their scorekeeper keep their teams at bat then send them an email with the stats and scorecard. Yep, that's out of the box, alright. Unfortunately, I value my iPad more than that. :P iScore has a long wa...

Re: Runs-only scoring
Very well said. To answer the question about the difference between baseball games and men's softball is the speed of the game. We start with a 1-1 count. We sometimes go 5 batters with each of them hitting the first pitch. If you want to see the whole play before you score, you have about 10 second...

Runs-only scoring
For our softball team we were really strapped last night because of the fact that the app makes it very difficult to play a game and score at the same time. In these situations, where we have no player on the bench or no scorekeeper, we would like to just enter the number of runs the other team scor...

Re: Action Buttons Disappear After Pinch Runner
Please add... iPad or iphone version? And clarify if version 2.7 or earlier... In my case, the latest iPad version - 2.76 something, I believe. Never saw it on my iPod. It's like some code path returning from a substitution (as I recall that's what I had just done) doesn't enable/show them for some...

Re: Action Buttons Disappear After Pinch Runner
I've had the same type of problem where the buttons are gone but there's no dialog up at all so it's impossible to continue scoring until you exit and re-enter. Didn't know quite what I did and didn't think about trying to duplicate it.

Re: Intuitive UI
Sure. I agree, that once someone learns an interface, it's disruptive and, in some instances downright annoying to have it change- better or worse really makes no difference at that point. Case in point - Windows!!! I still use the w/95 "classic" UI because it's comfortable and I can get my work don...

Re: Couple simple UI requests
Can you not get that info from the graphic showing where the ball went? Yes, of course, IFF you took the time to place it on that play. But sometimes either I don't press the ball placement or it doesn't register (don't know which), so you're left not quite sure. With the extra play description, it...

Re: Couple simple UI requests
I understand. But currently the "Ground out" that you get with a batter for what occurred his previous PA is just not enough- in english or in scoring-ese. When the scoreboard at MLB game has more than you do, something is wrong--- and there is no one-touch way of getting that information that I've ...

Intuitive UI
OK. There seems to be differing ideas about what draws new users to iScore. In my thinking an INTUITIVE user interface will make newbies AND experienced scorekeepers want to buy iScore and will have them raving about it to all their fellow scorers. After all, that drives your business so I would thi...

Re: Lefty / Righty Batter indicator on scorecard
It should also (in the case of a switch hitter) default to the opposite of the pitcher's throwing arm. I'm not now how it decides on which side to default to.
