Re: Courtesy Runners
Thank you! I knew how to score the caught stealing but I missed the courtesy runner button completely. This is the coolest app - it's just learning everything you need to know about scoring (and how to do it) that is the trick. I wish someone put on clinics about how to be a score keeper. I would su...

Courtesy Runners
This weekend our catcher had some great hits and his courtesy runners had a rough go of it. Two times the courtesy runner got out stealing 2nd. Both got caught stealing second. How do I enter who is doing the courtesy running? Can you subsitute once the batter(catcher) is showing on base? According ...

Re: Large team - how is it best to set batting order?
iScore allows any number of batters in a lineup. Just setting Batting = NO for the players that are not part of the starting lineup for the game. For the duplicate numbers, you would have to put something in the player name to distinguish the difference between the players. If you don't know their ...

Large team - how is it best to set batting order?
I'm a brand new user - first game scored yesterday. I dont' have the batting order for our JV team when I get to the game. I just set the starting line up as they come up to bat (and out on deck). I have all 22 kids entered into the team roster already. (We do play a split squad but different ones p...

Re: Learning to keep books...
Thank you for all the information. We have a game this afternoon so I will be using iScore at a live game for the first time. I'm sure I will have loads of questions tomorrow. Will post on the other forum about how to use iScore if anything comes up.

Re: Learning to keep books...
That's a great tip. I should have an opportunity to score several "practice" games before May when our select games get started. Also how do you mark your pitching location? If I sit behind the catcher looking out to the pitcher then I would want the setting set on catcher (meaning from the catcher'...

Thank you for the link.
Is it best just to make notes on an error and score it later after the game or try to score errors as you go when using iScore?

Learning to keep books...
My son is in high school and I'm planning on learning to use the iScore app to track stats for his select team this summer. The only thing I'm not really clear on is assigning errors. Is there a rule book or website out there that explains when/when not to assign errors? I've got plenty of JV games ...
