Agree with both previous replies. Shade is best. I too use the magnetic cover technique to protect both the ipad and the battery (only really an issue if facing 3 games in a day).

Just guessing, but assuming it would have been ruled a hit without the runner mistake, then I would score this a hit. Runner advanced by batter (no SB). Then runner tagged out and would probably use other for the reason.

Could also be a league filter issue??? Make sure 'All' League is selected, then check again.

The answer to your question, is to edit the outs in the stats. IP is a calculation of outs. (Bold fields are calculations and cannot be edited, you just have to figure which non-bold fields go into those calculations and edit those).

On tablet devices, pitch counts are displayed on scoring screen. On all devices, you can go to stats at any point to grab the current pitch count.
