Batter at bat gets "hit" by ball...
Coach pitch (pinto) game. I was simply an observer. Kid at bat swings at ball, which slams down, hits plate, bounces high, kid makes run for first, ball comes down, hits batter on his back, which then goes foul. Ump calls foul. OK- for this level of play I see why he called it that way...but I calle...

Re: 5 Run Rule
I don't score that way, no. The only time I "fudge" anything is an honest in the park homerun. If the kids hits what should be a single, and the fielding allows him a run, I still score it a single with the assigned errors. It gets tricky sometimes, but I keep it honest. For example, my son in parti...

Re: Fielder's choice? Tagged 3rd out and run counts?
ahhh...but how to score it? The run was the tie-making run in the bottom of the fifth, 3rd out made, game over. If the run doesn't count, we won.
Is there a "bad call" button?

Re: Fielder's choice? Tagged 3rd out and run counts?
So the other team argued that it has to do with timing and the 2nd baseman's choice: 1. the boy on third made it to home before the out was made 2. the second baseman chose to make it a tag instead of a force thus removing the force Here are MY citations: 4.09 HOW A TEAM SCORES. (a) One run shall be...

Re: 5 Run Rule
Yes, I guess so. However, these kids are really only looking at their batting average and total numbers of singles, doubles, triples, and home runs. So...when kids who average 4 feet tall hit a ball clear to the fence...well, like I said, I know that should be a scored single/double/triple, but no o...

Does "muff" mean deliberately not catch the ball?

Fielder's choice? Tagged 3rd out and run counts?
What a brouhaha last night! Long story short: this call decided whether it was a win or tie. I thought the call was wrong but after consulting several sources, I think ultimately the ump got it right (even though he changed his mind three times...and made the final decision based on the other coache...

Just received this email: We have restored the deleted game. You can now press Import to retrieve the recovered data as long as you have not changed the iScore data on your device since the last export. If you have changed the data then an import would cause those changes to be lost. Yippee!! BUT- i...

Re: Game Missing
First to clarify: I have scored 3 games. White Sox (our team) vs. 1) Indians 2) Reds 3) Rangers. The last game scored, vs, the Rangers, is the missing one. The date was 3/9/11 (yes, I am VERY behind!!! My coach is peeved... :) To answer your questions in order: Yes, I have a team web site, too. No, ...
